No Shoes, No Problem! Julia Roberts Goes Barefoot on Cannes Red Carpet

Barefoot and beautiful! Julia Roberts hit the red carpet at Cannes for the first time… without shoes.
The actress attended the “Money Monster” premiere wearing a long black Armani gown, paired with Chopard jewels, including a platinum pear-shaped emerald necklace with diamonds, an 18-carat white gold ring featuring a pear-shaped emerald and diamonds, and a pair of diamond stud earrings.
Julia posed for pictures with co-star George Clooney and director Jodie Foster before ascending the stairs of the Palais des Festivals. That's when, to everyone's surprise, it was revealed that Julia was barefoot!
The style move comes as a shock after many women claimed they were turned away from events last year for wearing flats. The festival, however, has denied that shoe height is a part of their dress code.
