Kris Jenner Shoots Down Rumors That the Kardashians Are Unwelcome in the Hamptons
“Extra’s” AJ Calloway sat down with Kardashian/Jenner matriarch Kris Jenner, who sets the record straight on rumors that Hamptons residents are less than enthused about the K-Dash clan descending upon their seaside town for the TV show “Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons.”
Kris said, “We are very excited about shooting there. Contrary to popular belief, they welcomed us with open arms. The house is great. I’m not going to be there all the time because I am producing the show.”
Mama Jenner also talked about daughter Kim’s wedding, revealing Kim was most surprised by Andrea Bocelli performing as she walked down the aisle. “Andrea Bocelli, big surprise! She thought it was a recording, and I think she screamed. She said she couldn’t believe he was really standing there singing for her.”
Kris and Bruce Jenner spent time together at the wedding, but told Calloway they are happy being separated. “We’re really happy the way things are right now and it works for us. We’ve known each other a quarter of a century, a long time… we share children together, memories together, and a life together that we still have and it will always be that way.”
Could she be ready to date again? “Right now, I just have my hands full. Could you imagine going out with me? I am a handful. I am no picnic.”
As for the recent news that daughter Kourtney and beau Scott Disick are expecting their third child, Kris played coy, only saying, “You’ll have to tune in to ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ on Sunday to find out.”
