"Idol" judge Simon Cowell is set to appear on Oprah Winfrey's new network in a show called "Master Class." "They're doing a show on very successful people, and I'm one of them. It teaches people how to do what you did."
"Extra's" Terri Seymour asked her good friend what advice he'd give, to which Cowell quipped, "Lie."
With only six episodes left, Simon Cowell's time as judge extraordinaire on "American Idol" is nearing an end.
Cowell's successor won't be announced until after the show's May 26 finale, so as not to take away from the competition, but he's not that sad about leaving.
"I've done this for nine years. I've had a great time, I'm very grateful," Cowell says. "But it's time for something new." And that new thing is hit British TV show "The X Factor" -- the American edition.
