New Pics! Jessa Duggar Welcomes Baby #3

Over the weekend, Jessa gave birth to a daughter, Ivy Jane, who weighed 7 lbs. 14 oz. and measured 20.5".

In a statement, Jessa and husband Ben Seewald said, “She feels so tiny compared to her siblings! We're so grateful to God for this precious gift. She is already so loved. Her big brothers adore her!”

On their family website, Jessa revealed that Ivy came earlier than expecting, writing, "Her due date was June 5th, and since both of our boys went five days past their due date, we thought we would go late again. We were so surprised when she came two weeks earlier than her brothers. We definitely weren't expecting that!"

Jessa went through "three and a half hours of labor" before Ivy was born. She added, "We were getting ready for church when my water broke, and we were thinking 'Well, I guess we have a change of plans!"

On Thursday, Jessa shared more photos of her bundle of joy, adding, “We are over the moon.”

Last week, Duggar posted a pic of her baby bump, noting that she was 38 weeks along. She added, “I honestly can't believe it. It seems like this pregnancy has flown by! Can anybody else attest to that fact that when you have toddler or two keeping you on your toes, pregnancy just seems to fly by??”

The baby comes just a week after Ben celebrated his 24th birthday. She recently paid tribute to him on Instagram, writing, “Your tender heart toward the Lord makes you humble and teachable. Your Christlike love for us shines through your gentleness and compassion. Our sons love and adore you (and they love it when they get to wear your hats 🧢👦🏻💙👦🏼). You're such a great role model to them, and I pray they grow up to be men who love Jesus, just like you.”

In January, Jessa announced she was pregnant, telling People, “We are overjoyed that God has blessed us with a baby, due late this Spring! rom the day we found out we were expecting, we both guessed boy, and if our predictions are right then we already have a ton the clothing and accessories ready to pass down! At the same time, we would absolutely love it if we found out we were having a girl — though we've joked that we'd be starting from square one and might have to learn a few things.”

Jessa and Ben are also the parents of sons Spurgeon, 3, and Henry, 2. Ben added, “Henry doesn't have a clue what's coming, but Spurgeon understands and he talks about the baby quite a bit. Seeing our boys meet their new sibling for the first time is something we are really looking forward to!”
