Duggar Family on Life after Josh’s Sex Scandals: We ‘Have Forgiven Him'
Just a few days before “Jill & Jessa: Counting On” returns, Josh Duggar's family sat down to discuss how they have been able to move on with their lives and patch up their relationship with him.
Josh has been in rehab for the past six months, ever since his sex scandals sent shockwaves to his family. His sister Jessa said in this week's issue of People, "I definitely have forgiven Josh. It is a process, though, that you have to work through in your heart. And trust is not quickly rebuilt. It is something that takes a while. We love him very much, though, and we are very hopeful for the future.”
Despite the scandals, Jessa's husband Ben is choosing to focus on the positive aspects of his relationship with his brother-in-law. "I love Josh and I want the best for him. There are a lot of people who have been hurt in this situation. I want to look for ways to help heal the situation for Josh and for Anna and their kids especially."
Josh's sister Joy added, "I have forgiven him and I feel that, but the trust is not there."
Another source revealed that Josh could be leaving rehab "any day" now.
"Jill & Jessa: Counting On” will focus on Jill Dillard and husband Derick's missonary work in Central America, while Jessa and Ben adjust to life with their baby Spurgeon.
The TLC show will return on March 15.
