Marvel Madness! Angelina Jolie, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson & More Comic-Con Surprises
It was a big night for Marvel at Comic-Con, with some surprise appearances by stars like Angelina Jolie, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and others.
The panel marked Angelina's SDCC debut as she confirmed she's joining the “The Eternals” as Thena, a near-immortal with special abilities like super strength and speed.
Jolie sat alongside her new co-stars Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh and Don Lee.
She told the crowd, "I'm gonna work 10 times harder, because what it means to be part of the MCU, to be part of this family, we know what the task ahead is, what you all deserve, and we're all gonna work very hard"
Natalie Portman was also there to confirm she is the new Thor!
Portman will star alongside Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson in “Thor: Love and Thunder,” which opens November 5, 2021.
Natalie told the fans, “Feels pretty good. I've always had a little hammer in me.”
Scarlett was there to announce the stand-alone “Black Widow” movie, which opens May 1, 2020.
Johansson explained, “I don't think I could have played this version of Natasha 10 years ago. I get to play her as a fully realized woman. I'm looking to wipe out some of the red from my ledger.”

It will be a star-studded cast, including David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O.T. Fagbenle and Rachel Weisz.
There were more big announcements, including Elizabeth Olsen revealing she is joining “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” and the Disney Plus show "WandaVision"!
