Kensington Palace has released new official portraits of Princess Charlotte, cradled by big brother George, on social media.

This marks the first time social media has been used to debut such momentous photographs from the royal family.

Also somewhat surprisingly, Us is reporting that the portraits were snapped by their mom, Kate, in mid-May. Kate shows a real flair for photography, though it doesn't seem like she will be in need of a backup plan!
