You’ve Gotta See What Figure Skater Tonya Harding Looks Like Now!
The real Tonya Harding, 47, made a rare public appearance last night at the Hollywood premiere of the new movie “I, Tonya.”
The former figure skater hit the red carpet in a long black dress with her husband Joseph Price by her side.
The insanely true story is based on the vicious attack on Tonya's rival Nancy Kerrigan at the 1994 figure skating championships.
At the premiere, “Extra's” Renee Bargh caught up with Margot Robbie, who plays the troubled Olympic ice queen, who revealed Tonya's reaction to the film.
“She did say she laughed and she cried and it was a very emotional experience,” Robbie said. “Obviously, there's parts she doesn't agree with, but overall, I think she was really grateful that we told her side of the story.”
Allison Janney plays Harding's foul-mouthed mom LaVona in the movie. She told Renee she thinks LaVona will see the movie, but… “I don't know if I want to hear what she has to say about it.”
Janney added, “I would've loved to have spoken to her before I did this film, but I didn't have the luxury of that because no one knew where she was and apparently she changed her name completely.”
“I, Tonya” opens in theaters December 8.
