First Look: Kerry Washington as Anita Hill in ‘Confirmation’
HBO tweeted the first photo of Kerry Washington as Anita Hill in HBO's upcoming biopic, “Confirmation.”

Washington, who is also an executive producer on the film, posted the pic on Instagram today with the caption, “Thank you for the profound opportunity of getting to inhabit Anita Hill and help tell this story!”
“Confirmation” is a dramatization of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas' 1991 confirmation hearings, in which Hill was called upon to testify about reports he had sexually harassed her.
The cast also includes actor Wendell Pierce as Thomas, Greg Kinnear as Joe Biden, who at the time served as Chairman of Thomas' Senate Judiciary Committee hearing. The cast includes Jennifer Hudson, Jeffrey Wright, Cobie Smulders, Erika Christensen and Eric Stonestreet.
