New Docu Trailer Shows Heath Ledger as You’ve Never Seen Him Before

Almost a decade after his death, a new documentary is exploring Heath Ledger's life.
“I Am Heath Ledger” reveals the actor's never-before-seen, intimate home movies and candid confessions from those who knew him best, including friends like Naomi Watts, Ben Harper and Ang Lee, and Heath's own family.

Ledger, who starred in films like “A Knight's Tale,” “Brokeback Mountain” and “The Dark Knight,” died from an accidental overdose in 2008. He left behind a daughter, Matilda, with ex Michelle Williams.
A limited release of the film is set for May 3, before it premieres on Spike TV May 17.
