‘American Pie’ Reunion! Mena Suvari Shares First Script & Alyson Hannigan Recalls Audition

Jason Biggs and his wife and co-host Jenny Mollen sit down with Mena Suvari and Alyson Hannigan to discuss the original script, a copy of which Mena still has!
Alyson also recalls her audition for the 1999 movie, saying, “I actually had come from lunch and I had, like, unlimited iced teas, and then sat in traffic for like an hour and a half and I had to pee so bad. I went and I was, like, very close to my appointment time. Signed in, ran to the bathroom, I’m washing my hands in the bathroom and they come and get me, so I had no time to settle down. I was like, ‘I’m going to do it the way I do it,’ because I had so much energy… I did the Michelle I wanted to do, and then it was on tape and that was it… I got the part.”
