HERE WE GROW AGAIN!!! It feels so good to be able to finally talk about this pregnancy! If you noticed I haven’t been on social media much the past couple of months, it’s because I was dealing with terrible nausea and fatigue, on top of taking care of two kiddos during a pandemic. Although this time has its uncertainties, we are so thankful and excited for this baby. I truly believe babies being born during this time are here for a special reason, to be light workers. We are beyond happy to love another baby, to give Emmy and Brooks another sibling and to have our children be so close! #partyof5 #babynumber3
They announced the news on Monday with a cute Instagram photo, just nine months after welcoming son Brooks Easton.
The reality stars, who also have daughter Emerson Avery, 2, confessed on Instagram Stories that their latest pregnancy was “very much an accident.”
Quoting Britney Spears, Tanner told fans, "Oops! I did it again... no, this one was not planned," adding it was “very much a surprise when Jade told me."
Roper added, "Yes, this was a big surprise.”
Jade is about 13 weeks along, and the baby is due around Thanksgiving.
Recalling how Brooks was unexpectedly born in their master closet before they could get to the hospital, they joked that they will have their hospital bag packed by October. Tanner insisted, “we're not having this one in the closet again."
They don’t know the baby’s gender yet, so they have a boy and girl name picked out. Jade said, "We have two [names] that we liked that were kinda leftovers from last time, so we'll see if we find some more that we like.”
Tanner said he’s open to having even more kids, explaining, “I kinda feel like what's the difference between three and four, so who the hell knows?"
Jade, however, felt different. "I think three is a good number,” she said.
