Actress Amanda Bynes, 33, and fiancé Paul Michael have everyone talking!
On Tuesday, the couple seemingly announced that they were expecting their first child. While Amanda shared photos of an ultrasound, Paul captioned his post, “Baby in the making.”
By the next day, both had deleted their baby announcements.
Last month, Amanda and Paul broke the news that they were engaged. They were then faced with breakup rumors after their Instagram accounts were scrubbed of each other. Michael shut down the rumors, telling Page Six, “Both of our Instas got hacked and someone deleted our pictures and sent DMs saying we broke up. We never broke up and weren't able to log in to our Instagrams until last night.”
In response to reports that Bynes was ordered to go to a psychiatric facility, Paul said, “She's not ordered to go to a hospital. She's ordered to go to a residential treatment, which is called inpatient, but she's not in a hospital.”
He went on, “She is affected by trauma from her childhood. The anxiety made her drop out of school and the judge ordered her to work on that in residential treatment.”
Paul noted that Amanda goes to outpatient group therapy, adding, “She's doing really well, besides anxiety and trauma.”
Along with asking for privacy for his client, Bynes' lawyer David Esquibias told People magazine that she "is seeking treatment for ongoing mental health issues.” He added, "Any reports that Amanda is suffering from drug or alcohol addiction issues are completely false. We ask for privacy during this time, and for any speculation about her personal life from the public and the media to cease so Amanda can focus on getting better.”
