After 31 years of marriage, Sarah and Todd Palin are calling it quits, The Anchorage Daily News reports.
Todd filed for divorce from the former governor of Alaska and 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate on Friday in Anchorage Superior Court.
In docs obtained by the paper, Todd cited “incompatibility of temperament between the parties such that they find it impossible to live together as husband and wife.”
The papers did not use their full names, but did include initials, their marriage date, and the birthdate of their only minor child, Trig. Todd is asking for joint legal custody of the 11-year-old.
The couple wed in 1988 and has five children: Bristol, Track, Willow, Piper and Trig.
