The star was already fashion forward with his red gown by Alessandro Michele for Gucci, so why twin with a lookalike add-on?

Leto was paying homage to Gucci's Fall 2018 runway show, which featured models carrying their own heads.

The combo was definitely the perfect fit for this year's Met Gala theme, Camp: Notes on Fashion.

Not only did Jared have fun posing with the head, he even passed it off to Shawn Mendes for a good laugh.
