Bellsaint Lands Lapalme Magazine Cover
Singer Bellsaint is gracing the cover of Lapalme Magazine, and opening up about her musical journey.
The emerging artist, set to take the stage at Resident DTLA in Los Angeles on Aug. 23, said she started singing when she was just 7 years old.
“I used to lock myself in my room and hide it from my parents because I was shy, but I broke out of my shell when I started writing original music for myself around 2009 when I decided to make it a profession,” she said.
Bellsaint, real name Caroline Brooks, said she likes to jot down song and lyric ideas in her phone. “I usually start with either a song title or a phrase or idea… some writing sessions take two hours and some take two days.”
