Angelina Jolie is firing back at ex Brad Pitt in new court documents.
Though she agreed to seal their bitter custody battle, Jolie said in the papers obtained by “Extra," "There is little doubt that [Brad] would prefer to keep the entire case private, particularly given the detailed investigations by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Dept. of Children and Family Services into allegation of abuse.”
Last month, Pitt filed a memorandum after his request to seal the custody documents was denied. The papers said that Angelina has “no self-regulating mechanism” since Brad's team believes that she didn’t put any effort to preventing the sensitive information from reaching the public. Jolie’s team argues that Pitt made those accusations since he’s "terrified that the public will learn the truth.” TMZ was the first to report the news.
A hearing is set for January 17.
Amid their ugly court battle, Jolie and their six children rang in the new year together in Colorado. The family was seen hitting the slopes and shopping around Crested Butte without Pitt in sight.
