Grammy-winning singer Natalie Cole, daughter of the legendary Nat King Cole, has died at 65.

Cole, who had been open about past substance abuse and about her struggle with hepatitis C and other ailments, passed away due to congestive heart failure.

Cole was perhaps best known for her 1991 virtual duet with her father, "Unforgettable", recorded over 25 years after his death from lung cancer.

She had a string of other hits in the '70s and '80s, including her debut single "This Will Be" (1975) and her comeback cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Pink Cadillac" (1988).
