While being honored, Berry said, "I just want to say that I am so proud to stand up here with these gorgeous, talented women—ones that walked before me that paved the way. I have so much respect and am humbled to be here and be reminded like everybody else what you ladies did and the path that you've paved, so that Naomie and I could be here with you. Thank you for the debt that you paid, and to be part of the Bond franchise is to be a part of history."
Naomie was definitely impressed by Halle. She gushed to E! News, "I've always looked up to Halle Berry — I've always admired and respected her. She's so beautiful and so talented. It was such an honor to meet her for the first time on the red carpet tonight. It was incredible, and she's even more beautiful in person—so stunning and gracious."
