Another Summer, Another Carly Rae Jepsen Earworm
Carly Rae Jepsen, the Canadian pop star whose "Call Me Maybe" ranks among the 50 most popular chart songs of all time in the U.S., just can't help herself when it comes to producing catchy, sugary summer songs.
Her latest, "Run Away with Me," is a good candidate for "song of the summer," even if there are almost as many other possibilities as there are Republican presidential candidates.
Now, she's dropped a breezy, romantic video for the tune to help hammer home its cute factor.
Her new album, E•MO•TION, is expected on August 21, 2015.
