'Jurassic World' and 'Inside Out' Have Summer Sizzle at the Box Office!
Today is the first day of summer, and both "Jurassic World" and "Inside Out" can fairly be classified as summer blockbusters.
Universal's "Jurassic World" is continuing its domination in theaters, stomping to what will be a $102-million finish, making it only the second film in history to score over $100 million in two separate weekends. Its overall take since release is nearing $400 million in the U.S. alone.
The new Disney/Pixar release "Inside Out" is turning things upside-down with a massive $91 million this weekend. It had been projected to take in more like $60 million.
It's going to be a long, hot, profitable summer for Hollywood.
