Latin Superstar Thalía Makes Facebook History with Launch of New Collection
Latin Grammy-winning superstar Thalía has made social media history, becoming the first designer to ever launch a collection by live-streaming her runway show on Facebook (watch it here).
The show, a major treat for her 15 million Facebook followers, featured all the hottest designs from the new Thalía Sodi Collection, available exclusively at Macy's.
“The collection is inspired by my own personal style,” said Thalía. The mother of two, married to music mogul Tommy Mottola, explained she has “embraced all of [her] lifestyle,” and channeled it into the collection. “Everyone will love it, because it's a collection that goes everywhere for everyone, every body type, every age range.”
For her debut runway walk as the collection's designer, Thalía wore the Thalía Sodi Ruched-Ankle Leopard-Print Jumpsuit. “It's very comfortable. It's very sexy. It's flattering… it fits the body incredibly.”
The Thalía Sodi Collection for women includes clothing, shoes, and accessories -- all inspired by Thalía's signature style.
Thalía's designs incorporate animal prints, bright colors, and plenty of bling. To her loyal customers, current and future, she extended this invitation: “Come on, let's have fun in life!”
