Simon Cowell on Seeing His Baby's Ultrasound: ‘I Feel Very Paternal Right Now’
“The X Factor” judge Simon Cowell is embracing his new role as a dad.
In an interview with Times of London, Cowell described how “surreal” it was to see the first ultrasound of his baby with girlfriend Lauren Silverman.
Cowell marveled, "You literally see this thing which is now alive, moving around. I feel very paternal right now. So I am very happy."
He joked that becoming a father will not make him any less mean when it comes time to judge the “X Factor” talent. Simon said, "I can assure you, I won't go soft.”
Silverman, 36, finalized her divorce from property millionaire Andrew Silverman last month.
