Brooke Mueller Headed to Rehab
Since her arrest for possession of cocaine last week, Brooke Mueller has decided to finally take control of her drug addiction issues and will enter rehab, a source told TMZ.
Friends close to Brooke pushed for Mueller to get professional help and eventually she caved in and agreed.
According to TMZ, Brooke's friends are in the process of making arrangements at a facility near her home in L.A. She will apparently be checking into the undisclosed center soon.
Sources say, Charlie Sheen, Mueller's ex-husband, will be in custody of their twin sons while Mueller is at rehab. Her parents will lend a hand as well.
UPDATE: Mueller released a statement: "Recognizing past attempts at treatment have not been successful, Brooke has decided to take a different approach to deal with her addiction. Brooke will be participating in a program during the day, and will be under expert supervision 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, Brooke has requested to be tested on a daily basis for cocaine and other illegal substances so there is no doubt as to her commitment.
"Brooke will retain custody of her children, both of whom will continue to remain at her home and be cared for by Brooke and their longtime nanny. Charlie and Brooke's family are all fully supportive of this decision and recognize the importance of maintaining the children's normal routine."
