Will and Jaden Smith Headed for Earth with Shyamalan
Will Smith and his prodigal son Jaden are set to star in M. Night Shyamalan's next thriller, set 1,000 years into the future. The eerie sci-fi adventure is about a boy who navigates an abandoned Earth to save himself and his alienated father after their ship crashes on the planet.
M. Night Shyamalan will direct, and will produce the as yet untitled film alongside Will and Jada Pinkett Smith and others. Shyamalan said, "The chance to make a scary, science-fiction film starring Jaden and Will is my dream project."
Jaden, 12, starred in the blockbuster hit "The Karate Kid" and made his film debut opposite his father in the 2006 film, "The Pursuit of Happyness."
