Dana Delany and the Brains Behind 'Body of Proof'
Actress Dana Delany, star of the new ABC drama "Body of Proof," joined Renee Bargh at The Grove on Tuesday.
Delany plays Dr. Megan Hunt, a gifted neurosurgeon who becomes a medical examiner after an accident leaves her unable to function at her former job. Hunt also deals with a failed marriage, a broken relationship with her daughter, and has an ego that makes it difficult for her to cooperate with detectives.
Dana tells Renee she did her homework before taking on the role of Dr. Hunt. "I actually did research for this show, and I witnessed four autopsies. I held a brain in my hand and I was fascinated." She joked, "I'm afraid I'll see some person on the street... I might take out a scalpel and start cutting!"
"Body of Proof" will be available for your inspection on ABC, premiering tonight at 10:00 PM after "Dancing with the Stars."
