George Lopez Knew of Sandra's Secret Adoption
Talk show host George Lopez is definitely a friend you'd want. As one of Sandra Bullock's close friends, he says he knew about her adoption of her son Louis -- and helped keep the whole thing out of the public eye.
"We knew about him a couple of months ago," Lopez and his wife, Ann, told "Extra" on Monday at the Third Annual George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic to Benefit the Ann and George Lopez Foundation.
"I love that she was able to do it privately and really take care of Louis, which is first and foremost," Lopez said. He then gushed, "We are proud uncle and aunt of Louis Bardo Bullock. He's beautiful."
Will Lopez and his wife be the godparents? "We haven't been asked," Lopez replied, but then joked, "Sandra is my godmother, so I'm happy just with that status."
Meanwhile, TMZ reports Bullock and her estranged husband have put their Orange County home on the market, a sign the divorce proceedings are still moving forward.
