'Bachelorette' Finds Love Off-Screen
"The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" unfortunately didn't help her find the man of her dreams, but wedding bells will finally ring for Jen Schefft. The lovelorn reality star revealed to People magazine she is engaged to boyfriend Joe Waterman.
The two met on a blind date in February arranged by a mutual friend. The matchmaker was one of Schefft's former blind dates that didn't click. "I figured I had to go out with Joe since I'd never been set up by someone I'd already gone on a date with," she reasoned.
"We really get each other," Schefft says of Waterman, "I guess it's true things move fast when you meet the right person." Waterman doesn't give her red roses on a daily basis, but she doesn't mind. "He gives me flowers but never roses."
The lovebirds live in Chicago and plan to marry sometime next year. "We want to keep it small and intimate. About 50 to 60 of our closest friends and family."
