Britney Cancels Album –- Is She Spinning Out of Control?
The firestorm surrounding Britney Spears just keeps getting bigger.
Britney, who has spent much of the spring on a mini-comeback tour, was supposed to have a new album set to drop by the end of the year.
She's been in and out of recording studios working on it, and she's even blasted some of the songs from her car stereo for waiting paparazzi to sample.
But what could have been Britney's big chance at stepping back into the spotlight – for reasons other than head-shaving, baby-dropping and clubbing – has just been curbed!
Britney's reps told Life and Style that her album is being pushed back to 2008.
The reason? According to inside sources, her label Jive hated the new songs.
