Jamie Bell’s First Words on Daughter with Kate Mara

Actor Jamie Bell hit the red carpet at the “Rocketman” premiere in NYC just weeks after welcoming his first daughter with Kate Mara.
Bell, who has a 6-year-old son from a previous relationship, explained, “It's kind of jumping back into the trenches a little bit, but, we're very happy everyone is doing well. It's great.”
He said with a smile, “So much stuff I have forgotten already, I'm kind of having to catch up again.”

Jamie stars in “Rocketman” as Elton John's longtime collaborator Bernie Taupin. He praised his co-star Taron Egerton who plays John, saying, “I'm so grateful that I got to be alongside him and watch him kind of change himself and embody the spirit of this wonderful icon.”
As for what he thinks the take away for the film is, “Joy, this is really a celebration of life, a celebration of someone who has survived so much. He and Bernie, I would say, have brought so much joy to millions of people through their music.”
“Rocketman” opens May 31.
