“The Voice” is coming back for Season 15, and Jennifer Hudson is back in the big red chair as a coach with Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Kelly Clarkson. Only “Extra’s” Renee Bargh was with Hudson as she revealed Halsey will join her as an advisor for the battle rounds.
Jennifer told us of working with Halsey, “It's been amazing. I love her take on things. It’s a different perspective. It’s not often you get song writers that are artists that are singers as well.”
Halsey added, “It’s been really, really incredible to watch people when they are left to the single device of your voice as a vehicle.”
What is her biggest advice for the contestants? “When you follow your heart, good things come and blessings will come. And when you let other people get in the way of your vision and other people control things, it's not going to end so well.”
Jennifer is also happy to be back with her fellow coaches, saying, “It's exciting. I'm happy to be back… And my passion never dies.” Hudson said she missed Blake the most because, “He's my buddy.”
The Oscar winner was also gushing over Kelly, who won last season. “She is amazing. She's just so lovable… I'm a coach, too, but Kelly, I want to be on your team. She just has that type of energy.”
“The Voice” returns to NBC September 24.
