Country star Carrie Underwood is returning to the stage for the first time since her gruesome fall!
Next week, Underwood will be performing her soon-to-be-released single at the 2018 ACM Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Last week, Underwood teased her performance by posting a rehearsal photo. It was also the first time that she posted a full photo of her face in more than five months.
In November, Carrie suffered “multiple injuries including a broken wrist and some cuts and abrasions from the fall.” After undergoing surgery, she noted that she was “not quite looking the same,” adding, “And when I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different. I’m hoping that, by then, the differences are minimal but, again, I just don’t know how it’s all going to end up.”
Underwood’s last public appearance was at the CMA Awards, which she hosted with Brad Paisley.
To catch Carrie’s performance, tune in to the 53rd ACM Awards, hosted by Reba McEntire, on Sunday, April 15.
