Paula Deen Cuts Ties with Longtime Agent

Deen’s rep told People.com, "Paula Deen has separated from her agent. She and her family thank him for the tireless effort and dedication over the many years. Paula wishes him well in all future endeavors."

Weiner, who has worked with Deen for over a decade, helped the comfort-food queen become a Food Network star and launch a media and merchandising empire, which has fallen apart since Deen admitted to using racial slurs.

Deen has already lost ties with The Food Network, Smithfield Foods, Target, Walmart, Sears/Kmart, while QVC is simply “taking a break.”
