‘Saved by the Bell’ Romance! Mark-Paul Gosselaar Says He Dated Elizabeth Berkley

“Saved by the Bell” co-stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Elizabeth Berkley once dated!

Gosselaar made the revelation during an appearance on Anna Faris' “Unqualified” podcast. He explained, “You know how it is. When you're working on a set, and we were young, there's no one around, really. I mean, you work and live in a bubble.”

He went on, “You're in L.A., right. You're in your cars and you come to set and you do your work and you're with these beautiful women and then you go back in your car... and you're not going to school, so you don't have a lot of choices."

Mark-Paul, who played Zack Morris on the series, pointed out that his mom was driving him to work each day. He said, “People say, 'Well, didn't you go out?' Not really.”

Nearly 10 years ago, Mark-Paul dished on the on-set romances, telling People magazine, “All of us dated at one point or another — it was incestuous!”

The 44-year-old is now married to Catriona McGinn, who has never watched an episode of “Saved by the Bell.” He recently told “Extra's” Mario Lopez, “She sees it a little bit here and there.”
