Hugh Jackman Explains His Selfie with Justin Timberlake
Sorry, folks. Hugh Jackman and Justin Timberlake are not working together.
On the road promoting his new film “Chappie,” Jackman caused a social media frenzy when he posted a selfie posing with a framed picture of Timberlake.

Jackman explained to “Extra's” AJ Calloway at the NYC premiere, “There was a photo of Justin on the wall of a Russian talk show, so I stood next to the photo.”
Hugh laughed, “Yo, JT! How are you, man? Where are you tonight? You're not here at the premiere. Come on, man.” AJ suggested the two do a duet together, the Aussie joked, “He asks me all the time.”
The actor also talked about sporting a mullet in “Chappie.” He said wife Deborra was thrilled to see it go. “My wife was very happy when I cut the mullet off… it had blonde tips, and for my wife's that's a deal breaker. Blonde tips, any kind of tips, out!”
Jackman plays a villainous, robotics engineer in the film, but said everyone is going to fall in love with the robot Chappie. “My wife cried at the end of this movie. She's not really a sci-fi sort of girl and she was like, 'I love this movie.'”
“Chappie” steps into theaters on Friday.
