Samuel “Ben” Selecman, the son-in-law of country singer Alan Jackson, has died. He was 28.
Jackson announced the news on his website, revealing Ben “died unexpectedly” after he “suffered severe traumatic head injuries in a fall.”
Selecman lived in Nashville and was an attorney with the Tennessee District Attorney’s Office. He wed Jackson’s eldest daughter Mattie last October.
Ben is survived by wife Mattie, his parents Mark and Brenda Selecman, and his brother Cole and his wife, Morgan.
