Us Weekly reports on the heartfelt message "Married at First Sight's" Jamie Otis posted Saturday, an open letter to the baby she and husband Doug Hehner will never have.
Otis confirmed she had miscarried her first child on Wednesday, just a week after announcing she was pregnant. In her post, she writes directly to the lost baby.
"Not a day goes by that I don’t wake up thinking of you, Baby Hehner," she captioned a happy-couple pic of herself with her husband. "I know I have to get back to 'normal life' but I just don’t know how to. Today daddy and I are going to pick out a perfect name for you. We love you so much. I hope you’re bouncing on clouds and feeling loved all the way up in heaven. #ourangel #LoveYou #angelbaby."
Otis, a nurse, wrote that she had been in the planning stages of her gender-reveal party when a check-up resulted in her being informed, "The prognosis is very poor and there is nothing you can do to help it." She was diagnosed as having very little amniotic fluid.
Otis and Hehner met on the first season of "Married at First Sight" and also starred in "Married at First Sight: The First Year."
