Singer Rihanna returned to her hometown wearing a barely there red bikini, fish nets and traditional headpiece for a Kadooment Day parade held in Barbados on Monday.
The pop star, who danced, sang and mingled with her hometown fans, enjoyed the special day, despite a few rain showers during the festivities.
The parade honors an ancient tradition going back to the 1700s, when Barbados was the world's largest producer of sugar. At the end of the sugar season, a celebration to mark a successful harvest became known as the Kadooment Day parade. The partying includes musical competitions and other traditional activities.
RiRi tweeted about her sweet homecoming: "My home, my country, my people....BARBADOS!!! #1LOVE #SWEETfahDAYS NOTHIN' BETTER! #RihannaNavy Miss u guys tho."
The 23-year-old arrived to the Caribbean island over the weekend after wrapping up her "Loud" tour.
