Less than a month after troubled star Lindsay Lohan sashayed out of rehab and into her new Venice digs, the wayward actress is a suspect in the theft of a $2,500 necklace from a Venice boutique.
The necklace was turned over to police by one of Lindsay's associates, and now cops have requested a search warrant for Lohan's home. Investigators say they have video of the star wearing the expensive bling.
"Lindsay is being accused of stealing high-end jewelry, including a necklace," said a law enforcement source. The actress could face another felony if the jewelry she is suspected of swiping is valued at $5,000 or more.
The 24-year-old is still on probation -- any issues with the law could easily land her back in court facing jail time.
The "Mean Girls" starlet fired back at the boutique owner, and according to TMZ told friends, "I don't have any necklace."
