In his first interview since it was revealed that he cheated on Sandra Bullock, Jesse James tells all on ABC's "Nightline" on Tuesday, May 25.
"During the midst of it, it made me feel horrible... I knew I wanted to get caught," James tells ABC reporter Vicki Mabrey. "I know for a fact what it was... it was me trying to self-sabotage my life."
He adds, "I think I'm the most hated man in the world now. I took a pretty amazing life and amazing success and everything and threw it away by my own hands."
The motorcycling two-timer says he never meant to hurt Sandra. "The last person I wanted to hurt or harm is her or the kids. I spent my whole life with the kids and with her, trying to protect her from everything. The most hurt she's ever been caused is by the person who wanted to protect her," James said during the interview.
