Usher has confirmed to "Extra" that he and wife Tameka Foster are expecting a boy!
Tameka said last night, "I have thought about names, but I’m not telling you because that would tell you stuff you want to know…gender!”
But proud papa Usher wasn’t as coy and spilled the beans, revealing, “I’m really looking forward to that moment in my life where I meet that little man, that little boy…It’s a boy!”
This will be Usher's first child. Tameka has four children.
Earlier this year, the R&B sensation told Ellen DeGeneres that he had his fingers crossed for a boy.
He also made it clear his plans for a name.
“If it’s a boy, I’m going to name him Usher,” he told Ellen. “I’m hoping to name him that. I’ve been playing with a few names. I’m the fourth. Usher Raymond IV. I just want to pass the name on. Maybe I’ll change the middle name.”
Usher, 28, and Tameka, 37, tied the knot this summer after several setbacks in planning their wedding. Their original lavish nuptials were called off at the last minute, but the two later wed in a civil ceremony.
