Why Nicole Byer Says Her Emmy Nomination Is ‘Very On-Brand’
“Extra’s” Cheslie Kryst spoke with comedian Nicole Byer, who has just been nominated for an Emmy for her work on “Nailed It!”
Byer commented, “It feels so cool… I’ll be attending it in my living room, which is honestly very on-brand for me, being nominated the year there is no ceremony.”
Byer has been staying busy during quarantine, recently releasing her new book “#VERYFAT #VERYBRAVE: The Fat Girl's Guide to Being #Brave and Not a Dejected, Melancholy, Down-in-the-Dumps Weeping Fat Girl in a Bikini.” She shared, “I just wrote it as a self-help guide… I want you to read the book and then go, ‘Oh, I’m not too fat to do anything I want to do.'”
