“Extra’s” Billy Bush spoke with stand-up comic W. Kamau Bell, who promoted the fifth season of his CNN show “United Shades of America.”

Bell finished shooting the season just before the COVID-19 pandemic hit the nation. Due to the nationwide protests against racism and police brutality, Bell was “fortunate” enough to be able to adjust an episode to show the civil unrest.

Bell also cleared up a misconception about the Black Lives Matter movement, saying, “There's a weird thing in this country where we think 'Black Lives Matter' means Black people are gonna want revenge for what has happened to us. And all we want is equity and justice.”

W. also shared his reaction to Kanye running for president. Watch!
