Kathie Lee Gifford Talks Loss and Love Ahead of New Romantic Comedy ‘Then Came You’
Kathie Lee Gifford told "Extra" she had a great time working with Craig Ferguson on their new movie, “Then Came You,” but the TV host has also suffered some huge losses of late — Kathie’s husband, NFL great Frank Gifford, passed away in 2015, and just recently she lost her close friend and former co-host Regis Philbin.
“Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers caught up with Kathie Lee and Craig, who opened up about the romantic comedy.
Gifford plays a widow named Annabelle, who falls for a Scottish innkeeper played by Craig. Kathie Lee explained, “Loss is loss. Everybody’s details are different, the power of it is the same. It’s real, the deeper you love somebody the greater pain you’re going to feel when you lose them.”
