Regina King Hopes to Inspire Young Black Women: ‘Never Stop Dreaming’

“Extra’s” Rachel Lindsay spoke with Regina King, who was honored with a hand and footprint ceremony at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

When asked what message young Black women should take away from her career milestone, Regina said, “Never stop dreaming.”

“I'm 50 years old and I have so much more that I want to do that I'm going to do,” Regina emphasized. “A lot of people, they'll look at my career and say, ‘Slow and steady wins the race.’ But I'm in a marathon and I've won many races!”
