‘Extra’ Vintage Video: Kobe Bryant Was Already Showing His Mamba Mentality at 17
In honor of Kobe Bryant, “Extra” is going back to the first time we met him, at the age of 17.
Bryant, who went straight from high school to the NBA in 1996, said, “I’m the type of person where when I set a goal, I’m going to work as hard as I possibly can to achieve that goal.”
Kobe went on to become a Lakers legend with five NBA championships under his belt.
