Jupiter and Saturn Set to Align Tonight, Creating ‘Christmas Star’

“Extra’s” Billy Bush closes the show with a little Christmas miracle. Tonight, Jupiter and Saturn, the two biggest planets in our solar system, will be closer together than they have been since March 4, 1226… almost 800 years ago.

The alignment will look kind of like a double planet and make a bright splash. The galactic event has some dubbing the duo the “Christmas star.”

Billy reflected that much like COVID-19, this is another reminder that so much is out of our control, and we can only control how we respond. Watch!
