How Christian Siriano Came Up with Billy Porter’s Oscars Look
“Project Runway” winner Christian Siriano is certainly having his moment as a fashion designer!
Days after Siriano dressed Billy Porter for the Oscars, “Extra’s” Renee Bargh sat down with the designer at Universal Studios Hollywood, where he dished on the “Pose” actor’s bold look. Along with calling it a “major moment, he said, “We just kind of wanted to try something different… He was like, 'Let’s push it, honey,' and that’s what we did. It’s a bit random to see a man in a dress on carpet like that, but I think the whole idea is people should wear what they feel. Fashion shouldn’t be so difficult, it should be fun.”
