A Doctor's Message to Young People Throwing COVID-19 Parties
“Extra’s” Billy Bush spoke with Dr. Jenn Ashton, who explained why it’s important for young people to take social distancing seriously.
Of the recent COVID-19 parties being attended by young people, Ashton stressed, “Listen, you may be at lower risk, but you live with someone who might be 50, 60, 70. You might have grandparents, you might know someone who lives with someone who's battling cancer, or pregnant or, you name it, the ripple effect has the potential for really seriously affecting someone else. And actually killing them.”
Ashton also discussed how masks are “reducing the spread of this virus.”
