Iyanla Vanzant Explains the Importance of Discussing Racism Openly
“Extra’s” Billy Bush spoke with inspirational speaker Iyanla Vanzant, who weighed in on systemic racism in America.
Vanzant commented, “This issue of race and racial disparity and racial imbalance, it has been hidden, it has been denied, it has been avoided — and now it is right out in our face, and we have to deal with that.”
Along with dishing on the finale of her virtual unscripted show “Fear Not with Iyanla Vanzant,” she explained how America can move forward, including talking about race “out loud.”
